We do our best to be thoughtful and intentional with every step taken in developing our business. Additionally, we recognize that it is not a one-and-done process. We are constantly working toward being environmentally, economically, and socially forward-thinking.
Where We Are Today...
ENVIRONMENTAL: Our goal is to be 100% natural, waste-free and environmentally friendly. We pride ourselves on our beard products being made from all-natural ingredients, and we are actively transitioning to the use of 100% recyclable packaging and shipping materials. Right now, nearly all of our packaging is made of recycled materials. That being said, we’re working on eliminating the “nearly” in order to create entirely environmentally responsible and sustainable products.
ECONOMIC: We strongly believe in investing within our local community. So much so that the entire Honor family is based within the United States. In addition to our team, we partner with local manufactures and fulfillment centers in order to do our part in promoting a healthy economy. We believe in going the extra mile for our customers and our country.
SOCIAL: We believe in empowering our team and encourage leadership both within our company and beyond. Our top priorities are community engagement and philanthropy. By hosting annual meetups, we can gain feedback from customers and have an open dialogue between our brand and those we serve. Having been founded from a place of ingenuity and desire to help others, we use our platform to both spread awareness and serve as liaison between the public and a variety of men’s health organizations. We do this by donating 5% of our annual sales to various causes.
What's next by 2023?
B-CORPORATION: The ultimate goal is for Honor to become a certified B Corporation. A B-Corp is a business that meets the highest standard of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. By achieving this status, we are doing our part in accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy.
MATERIALS: We will complete our transition to the use of 100% sustainable materials. Additionally, we are reducing our ecological footprint by using smaller boxes, bags, and containers for your products. Not only does this help our brand's commitment to the environment, it also lowers your shipping costs.
ENVIRONMENTAL: In order to expand our philanthropic horizons, we are creating a line of beard products specifically for the environment. We will be donating all revenue generated by these sales to trusted organizations that support wildlife management and the National Forest Foundation. We understand that the environment plays a huge part in the sustainability of our planet and we will continue to do our part.
